Privacy policy.

HER Fit ("we", "us") operates a fitness studio at 230 N 2nd E, Rexburg, ID 83440. You can reach us at 208-201-5205 or rexburg@joinherfit.com. The legal entity responsible for your information is HerFit LLC, an Idaho limited liability company.

Information you give us directly. When you use a contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message.

Membership application information. When you apply for a membership, you provide your name, email address, phone number, emergency contact, a photograph of yourself, and a photograph of a government-issued ID. We use the photo and ID solely to confirm your identity and confirm eligibility for a women-only facility. We do not use face-recognition software or create a biometric template from these images.

Payment information. Card numbers and recurring billing are collected and processed by our payment partner, Somelo. HER Fit does not receive or store your full card number. We receive only the billing status of your membership.

Information collected automatically. This website does not run advertising trackers. Our hosting provider processes standard server logs, and the blog on our Journal page is embedded from a third-party provider (Soro) which may set its own cookies.

In-studio information. Key-fob entry records, and video from security cameras. We operate one camera covering the interior back door area, cameras monitoring the gym floor, and several cameras on the exterior of the building. There are no cameras in private areas such as the changing room or bathrooms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.

Because HER Fit is a women-only facility, HER Fit staff review a photo of you alongside a government-issued ID at the application stage. The only thing we check is that the ID belongs to you and that it shows a legal sex of female. We do not use face-recognition software or create a biometric template.

We do not keep ID images. Once staff have confirmed the match, the ID and verification photo are deleted; we retain only a record that verification was completed. You can ask us to confirm deletion at any time. We do not share these images with anyone outside HER Fit and our application and payment provider.

We share only what is necessary, only with providers that help us run the studio:

• Somelo - membership applications, identity verification, payment processing, and recurring billing
• Soro - hosts the articles embedded on our Journal page
• Our website host - serves this site and keeps standard server logs

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the safety of our members and staff.

• ID and verification photos: deleted as soon as staff have confirmed the ID matches you and shows a legal sex of female. We keep only the fact that verification passed, not the image.
• Contact form messages: kept only as long as needed to answer your question [CONFIRM: a specific retention period if you want one stated]
• Security camera footage: [CONFIRM: how long camera footage is stored before it overwrites]
• Membership and billing records: retained as long as you are a member and afterwards for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you may opt out of marketing messages at any time. To make a request, call 208-201-5205 or email rexburg@joinherfit.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law. We honor these requests for all members regardless of state.

We limit access to member information to staff who need it. Payment data is handled entirely by our payment provider on their systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This site is not directed to children. You must be 18 or older to hold your own membership and train unaccompanied. Members aged 14 to 17 may join only alongside a family member who is also a member and must attend with them.

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify current members directly.
